The Brisbane Skateboard Association (formerly the Brisbane Skate Cartel) has been established to advocate for the rights, needs and interests of Brisbane Skateboarders.
Brisbane was once a leader in Skateboard Facility development.
However, over the past decade, despite the growing popularity of skateboarding, Skate Facilities have suffered from under investment.
Without a unified voice to express these concerns and lobby Brisbane City Council for improvements, Brisbane Skateboard Facilities will continue to suffer.
